About the Grand Peristyle
The Grand Peristyle is a house of the Haitian Vodou tradition, led by Houngan Kanson Fè — a name that means "iron pants" in Kreyòl: one who does not bend, does not run, and does not abandon the people he serves.
Initiated in the tradition and formed over many years of practice, Kanson Fè serves the lwa and the community with the old knowledge of the peristyle: consultation, spiritual work, cleansing, protection, and guidance. His door is open to Haitians at home and in the diaspora, and to anyone who comes with a serious heart.
Our Mission
To serve with honesty. Vodou is a religion of family, healing, and balance — not a spectacle. The mission of the Grand Peristyle is to help people find clarity and relief in their real problems: love, family, health of the spirit, protection, work, and justice — and to preserve and transmit the sacred knowledge of the tradition through teaching and books.
How Kanson Fè Works
- He listens first. Every situation begins with a free consultation.
- He tells you the truth. If a work is not needed, he will say so.
- He works in the tradition. Every ceremony follows the rites of the peristyle.
- He keeps your confidence. What is said in consultation stays in consultation.
